Weider’s Hall has been a community gathering place for over 130 years. Its 3000+ square-foot ballroom serves throughout the week as a dance studio, fitness venue, event space, and sanctuary.
Spacious, beautiful, and easy to find. Weider’s Hall Ballroom can be your classroom, studio, performance, or event space for up to 49 people. (We anticipate this will rise to 99 later in 2017.)
Rates vary based on the day and size of the group. Launching something brand new? Lower “incubator” rates are available while you get things up and running.
We apologize, this room is only accessible by stairs.
Weider’s Hall (also known as Highland Hall) is located on the corner of Gregory and Cayuga Streets in Rochester’s South Wedge neighborhood. Built in 1885 as a dance hall and grocery store, the building is a beautiful historic place that has been restored lovingly over many years.
Weider’s Hall Ballroom is managed by Mosaic Church, its primary tenant. Part of Mosaic’s mission is to foster personal, artistic, and civic growth in the Rochester community. Making the ballroom available for such uses is a key way Mosaic fulfills that mission. Rental fees are used to offset the costs of maintaining and managing the facility.
Weider’s Hall is also the studio home of the award-winning PUSH Physical Theatre, who rehearse and train here when not on tour.
